Graduate of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with an Associates Degree in Pastoral Ministry, a Bachelors in Christian Education and a Masters in Discipleship, Pastor Wayne has been the Senior Pastor at The Hill Church formerly Coteau Baptist for 18+ years. Wayne has a heart to see people come to know Christ as their Savior. Pastor Hunt has a passion to see people discipled and grow in their relationship with Christ. He believes that a relationship with Christ is the answer to peace, resolve and guidance in daily life as well as eternal life.
His Wife Anita Hunt is a graduate of Kennesaw University in Kennesaw Ga with a degree in computer Science and a minor in math. She has served our community in the public education arena as a classroom teacher and special education/intervention teacher for 27 years. Anita serves the church as a Sunday School Teacher for women and is our Women's Ministry Leader.
Wayne also serves as a Chaplain for Coteau Fire Protection District and is a Federation of Fire Chaplain Level three Chaplain Instructor. Wayne has been married for 44 years to Anita Foster Hunt. They raised two Daughters who both graduated college at Northwestern State and serve the Lord in their daily lives.
